This cookie policy explains how Kflows Ltd(“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on kflows.co.uk. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the owners of the site. This policy also covers similar technologies such as local storage, pixels, and tracking scripts.
2. Cookies we use
kflows.co.uk sets one cookie, and it is the one that records your cookie choice. The site is a set of static pages served through Netlify. We do not run analytics, retargeting pixels, chat widgets, or session-recording tools on this site.
The consent banner and its cookie are provided by Secure Privacy. When you make a choice in the banner, a cookie named sp_consent is stored so the banner does not ask you again. Making that record is exempt from consent under PECR because it exists only to honour your choice. The banner is there so that if we ever add anything that does need consent, it is asked for first.
| Category | Purpose | Set by us? | Consent required? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Remember your cookie choice (sp_consent, via Secure Privacy) | Yes | No (PECR exemption) |
| Performance / analytics | Measure how visitors use the site | Not used | N/A |
| Functionality | Remember preferences | Not used | N/A |
| Advertising / targeting | Track across sites for retargeting | Not used | N/A |
If this ever changes, for example if we add analytics or a booking widget, we will update this page and the banner will ask for consent where the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, require it.
3. The Installer Growth Check
The free check at /growth-check keeps your answers in the page while you are on it and nowhere else. Nothing is stored in your browser and nothing is sent until you enter your details and ask for the result by email. Closing the page discards the answers.
4. Fonts and third-party resources
The typefaces on this site (Archivo, Source Serif 4 and IBM Plex Mono) are served from kflows.co.uk itself. Your browser makes no request to Google Fonts or any other font provider.
The one third-party script on every page is the Secure Privacy consent banner, loaded from secureprivacy.ai. To show the banner, Secure Privacy receives your IP address and browser details in the ordinary course of serving the file. Secure Privacy is listed on our Sub-processors page.
5. Forms and external links
- Forms. When you send the Growth Check result to yourself, your entry is received by Netlify (our host) and passed to the systems named on our Sub-processors page so the email can be sent. No cookie is set in the process.
- External links to LinkedIn, our sub-processors, or regulators take you off our site; their own cookie policies apply.
6. How to manage cookies
Beyond that one cookie, there is nothing to manage, but you can always control cookies at the browser level. Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge each offer cookie controls in their privacy settings. Privacy-focused browsers such as Brave, or Firefox with Enhanced Tracking Protection, block many cookies and trackers automatically.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time, for example if we introduce analytics or add a new third-party embed. Any material changes will be shown at the top of the page with an updated “Last updated” date.
